Mmm. I should have paid a little bit more attention. "This list" should be
php-pear@lists.php.net - for some reason that's where I thought you'd written to
originally.
Also, you should take a look at the existing PEAR classes and standards -
there's a whole set of naming, code documentation, and error conventions that
PEAR code should follow.

(p.s. Also, if you care for my opinion, I think the code to actually send the
email should be as seperate as possible from the code to generate the MIME
message. That way you can add backends (php's mail function, smtp, sendmail,
etc) much more modularly.
