Hi,
I forgot some informations.
I downloaded the latest version for which png support would work -> beta3 and
see the differences between this version and snapshot from August 19th through
config.log.
I applied this on ./configure (because I don't have autoconf to rebuild
everything):
LIBS="-lgd -lpng -lz $LIBS"
instead of LIBS="-lgd $LIBS" for gdImageCreateFromPng to force linkage with
-lpng before -lz.
and config.log finally says:
configure:14909: checking for gdImageCreateFromPng in -lgd
configure:14928: gcc -o conftest -g -O2 -I/usr/pkg/include -L/usr/pkg/lib -R/u
/guest/www/mbin/i386-NetBSD/lib -L/u/guest/www/mbin/i386-NetBSD/lib -L/u/guest/w
ww/mbin/i386-NetBSD/lib conftest.c -lgd -lpng -lz -lgd -lresolv -lm -lcrypt -lr
esolv -lz -lpng 1>&5
I don't know yet if it'll compile fine though.
