From: peter@mediasvar.se Operating system: Solaris 2.8 PHP version: 4.0.1pl2 PHP Bug Type: Scripting Engine problem Bug description: session_set_save_handler never uses the write function We need to use a DB instead of files for storing the session-data since we are running a site over multiple servers. We wrote a routine using session_set_save_handler() from the example on php.net but noticed that the write routine is never used? It's seems like a bug? It's really important for us since this is in a production system and we have the session-data on a unreliable NFS-server today.
