It seems to be, that the problem apears if user accesses with very slow connection, maybe modems < 14400kbps ... I'm connected via 2Mbit ... the exectime varies between 0 and about 5 seconds ... 'til now ... Question: does PHP wait 'til apache-output is completed ?? It also may be the wrong direction to search ... !! As I remember problem apears down to early PHP4-Betas ...
