PHP version: 4.0.2
PHP Bug Type: Compile Failure
Bug description: c source files in the dist are not regenerated from yacc and lex files
The following files are included in the distribution as
c source, and make does not force regenerating them from
the corresponding .y or .l file:
ext/standard/parsedate.c
main/configuration-parser.c
main/configuration-scanner.c
Zend/zend-parser.c
Zend/zend-scanner.c
Some of them contain hard-coded paths beginning with /home. On a system where /home is automounted,
these result in
"permission denied" errors and the make fails.
Workaround is to remove the files listed above before invoking make.
