phpinfo() doesn't show anything about the extension. It looks like it never
loads. I upgraded one server to PHP 4.0.2 which fails to load with the
php_mcrypt.dll from download.swwwing.com/php4/modules. I may be doing it
wrong but basically I use a local linux server just to encrypt data to/from
my AS2000 & WinNT4 internet servers. It's a pain but it works.
I think one of the confusing situations according to message boards is which
compiled .dlls (and where are they located) work with the latest version of
PHP4? I am planning a massive release of some software that absolutely
relies on mcrypt(), specifically blowfish, to work. I appreciate any
information you can provide in getting mcrypt() to work under win32.
Thanks,
Kawika
