I think nonblocking I/O might be less standardized than threads (you
guys probably know more about this than me), and I don't see how to
timeout the resolving without threads. If I'm using threads for res-
olving, I might as well use it for the connect.
I suppose I'll use nonblocking I/O first anyway, since not everyone
has threads.
Stig
