How to disable the transparent Session ID ?

Having configured php4 with the flag "--enable-trans-id" php appends the
current session id automatically, if a session is started. But in one special
case I' dont want to let php do this on its own. Is there any possibility of
disabling this feature by setting a flag in php's config file ?
