btw, it is documented.
What is documented? I know the change is documented, I said so in the
email you replied to. I can't find any documentation concerning what
you're supposed to do about it, though.
It´s exactly for the reason that
$ribbens='foo';
function jon() {
global $ribbens; }
creates a reference and thus unsetting $ribbens within the function should *not* affect $ribbens in another scope. That´s well defined and correct behaviour *now*.
PLEASE DO NOT THROW ANYTHING TO THE LIST YOU FIND INTERSTING OR STRANGE!
Again, there´s a list called php-general@lists.php.net.
I won´t answer *any* of your following messages, regardless if it´s useful or not, thus do not react on this mail.
best regards,
André
