In a php script if you simply have an '<?echo $var[]?>' in your scipt it causes it
to exit and output nothing. I stumbled upon this bug when the script I was working on all of the
sudden started returning nothing. I imagine this could be fixed by testing for the condidtion and
returning a null value or a parse error.
