Bug description: configure does not recognize sys/socket.h

checking for sys/resource.h... yes
checking for sys/select.h... yes
checking for sys/socket.h... no
checking for sys/statfs.h... yes
checking for sys/statvfs.h... yes
checking for sys/time.h... yes
checking for sys/types.h... yes
checking for sys/varargs.h... no
checking for sys/wait.h... yes
but socket.h is present in /usr/include/sys
(varargs.h is not present, so no error there)
