Hi to all!
The matter:
<input type="text" value="something">
Ok. I put anything in this field, like: This is a "quoted" text with 'simply
quotes' also.
The text will be translated with addslaches and stripslashes and so to MySQL
database. All seems to work, but... When I tretrieve the data from MySQL and
I want to return this value in a <input type="text"> field, thins go wrong.
Text is truncated from the 1st " to end, or other strange behaviors....
Is there any way to acces form.field.value objects or so? I readed that form
object is read only. I want to put the MySQL row data to form object
"directly". When the HTML is generated, I came with this:
<INPUT TYPE="TEXT" VALUE="This is a "quoted" text with 'simply
quotes' also.">
This doesn't work, logically....
Trying to do a form.field.value = MySQL_row_name don't work also....
Any ideas will be appreciated!
TIA
Joan
