It'd be great if you could have some ISO-2022-JP <-> SJIS <-> EUC
functionality. Something like: force_sjis($string) which would try to
autodetect the current encoding and make the appropriate shifts.
Btw, do PHP regex have character anchoring? That would be of great help
too if it did.
