ID: 5252 Updated by: sniper Reported By: olm@technologist.com Status: Closed Bug Type: Compile Failure Assigned To: Comments: No feedback. --Jani Previous Comments: --------------------------------------------------------------------------- [2000-08-29 08:53:25] sniper@php.net Have you solved this problem? It's clearly problem with your libraries not in php4. At least I have succesfully compiled php4 with pdflib support with latest CVS and php4.0.1pl2. Try recompiling those libs and php4. (And more recent version of it!) --JAni --------------------------------------------------------------------------- [2000-07-26 10:47:19] waldschrott@php.net I was wrong. for pdflib 3.0.1 you need a newest version of php, pdflib 3.0.0 should be supported by 4.0.1pl2 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- [2000-07-26 02:00:30] waldschrott@php.net Please verify that it´s still happening using the latest version of PHP (release 4.0.1pl2 or CVS). I´m even unsure it that version is supported... --------------------------------------------------------------------------- [2000-06-28 17:51:41] olm@technologist.com Update: when I removed the "--with-java=/usr/local/src/web/jdk118" line from ./compile line, it looks much better... Found this thanks config.log: seems to be a conflict with jdk libs... strange. : configure:24829: checking for jpeg_read_header in -ljpeg configure:24848: gcc -o conftest -g -O2 -DEAPI=1 -Wl,-rpath,/usr/local/src/web/gd1.3 -L/usr/local/src/web/gd1.3 -Wl,-rpath,/usr/local/src/web/jdk1 /tmp/ccYF6uEv.o: In function `main': /usr/local/src/web/php-4.0.0/configure:24844: undefined reference to `jpeg_read_header' /usr/local/src/web/jdk118/lib/linux/native_threads/libjpeg.so: undefined reference to `jio_fprintf' /usr/local/src/web/jdk118/lib/linux/native_threads/libjpeg.so: undefined reference to `EE' /usr/local/src/web/jdk118/lib/linux/native_threads/libjpeg.so: undefined reference to `jio_snprintf' /usr/local/src/web/jdk118/lib/linux/native_threads/libjpeg.so: undefined reference to `java_lang_String_intern' /usr/local/src/web/jdk118/lib/linux/native_threads/libjpeg.so: undefined reference to `SignalError' /usr/local/src/web/jdk118/lib/linux/native_threads/libjpeg.so: undefined reference to `ArrayAlloc' /usr/local/src/web/jdk118/lib/linux/native_threads/libjpeg.so: undefined reference to `execute_java_dynamic_method' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status configure: failed program was: #line 24837 "configure" #include "confdefs.h" /* Override any gcc2 internal prototype to avoid an error. */ /* We use char because int might match the return type of a gcc2 builtin and then its argument prototype would still apply. */ char jpeg_read_header();
