ID: 6194 Updated by: sniper Reported By: cc@comedien.de Status: Closed Bug Type: *General Issues Assigned To: Comments: No feedback from user. --Jani Previous Comments: --------------------------------------------------------------------------- [2000-08-22 17:41:48] kalowsky@php.net please try latest CVS version to see if this is fixed, not the tarball. there are known issues with the 2.3 system not working, but its hard to support when Solidtech doesn't provide documentation either (2.3 is no longer supported by Solidtech). --------------------------------------------------------------------------- [2000-08-16 11:09:01] cc@comedien.de I've downloaded the php4 tarball today, so it should be the newsest version. I'm using the SOLID Web Enginge 2.30 issued on 1998-10-21. Installation directory is the default: /usr/local/solid Also tried without success: --with-solid=/usr/local/solid Configuring and making php-3.0.16 with the same configure-command is working fine. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- [2000-08-16 09:34:02] kalowsky@php.net A few things of note: 1) update to the latest cvs builds. pl2 was released without many changes to the solid support. 2) what version of solid are you running? 3) where is your solid install? the default PHP source is /usr/local/solid. by the missing SQLINTEGER it sounds as if it cannot find your include files, which will drastically hinder the build process. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- [2000-08-16 08:17:13] cc@comedien.de I used: ./configure --with-apache=/usr/local/apache --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql --with-solid --with-gd=/usr/local/gd --with-zlib=/usr/include --enable-track-vars --with-dbase --enable-magic-quotes --enable-url-includes doing make the last lines of the output were: make[3]: Entering directory `/usr/local/php-4.0.1pl2/ext/odbc' gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I/usr/local/php-4.0.1pl2/ext/odbc -I/usr/local/php-4.0.1pl2 -I/usr/local/php-4.0.1pl2/main -I/usr/local/apache/src/includ e -I/usr/local/apache/src/os/unix -I/usr/local/php-4.0.1pl2/Zend -I/usr/local/php-4.0.1pl2 -I/usr/local/gd -I/usr/local/mysql/include/mysql -I/usr /local/solid/include -I/usr/local/php-4.0.1pl2/ext/xml/expat/xmltok -I/usr/local/php-4.0.1pl2/ext/xml/expat/xmlparse -DXML_BYTE_ORDER=12 -g -O2 -c php_odbc.c && touch php_odbc.lo php_odbc.c: In function `odbc_column_lengths': php_odbc.c:606: `SQLINTEGER' undeclared (first use this function) php_odbc.c:606: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once php_odbc.c:606: for each function it appears in.) php_odbc.c:606: parse error before `len' php_odbc.c:634: `len' undeclared (first use this function) make[3]: *** [php_odbc.lo] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/php-4.0.1pl2/ext/odbc' make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/php-4.0.1pl2/ext/odbc' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/php-4.0.1pl2/ext' make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 Hope you can help Christian Corsepius Munich/Germany cc@comedien.de --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Full Bug description available at: http://bugs.php.net/?id=6194
