Re: PHP 4.0 Bug #4698 Updated: Oracle's LDAP libs conflict with OpenLDAP

Hey sniper... I got oracle to compile without interfering with openLDAP. I had to edit the apache makefile and the php makefile and add -lldap and -llber BEFORE -lclntsh in $APACHE_SOURCE/src/Makefile and in $APACHE_SOURCE/src/php4/Makefile. I haven't tested oci8_ php functionality but it definitely didn't kill LDAP functionality like before. :) Hope this helps. - Steve.
