Yes, I would like that too. Are you volunteering for this? > o AWK is simple and it *works* just fine -- adding add'l local > tests is easy with the current scheme. Actually, it was AWK + sh + diff + rm + grep + /dev/null + ... which do work fine in Unix environments. It's my understanding though that php3 works on other environments too. As for adding additional local tests I think is no more difficult. In fact, I think simpler: The Content-type lines which all appear to be the same thing don't appear. And there were lots of tests with --POST-- --GET-- --EXPECT-- that is, null entries that can be removed if you don't want to insert them. Why not try the new format. It suspect you may not have. > o If you must use Perl -- do not remove the current test > directory/tests, please. Do you see overwritten directories or new ones. Could you elaborate what steps you used to build and run the regression tests for php3? Perhaps we can incorporate that into instructions in the source tree. -- PHP Development Mailing List http://www.php.net/ To unsubscribe send an empty message to php-dev-unsubscribe@lists.php.net For help: php-dev-help@lists.php.net
