Operating system: Linux 2.4.0-test7
PHP version: 4.0.2
PHP Bug Type: *Function Specific
Bug description: error_reporting(0);
Why does the following example produce an error message that is displayed in the web browser?
<?php
error_reporting(0);
$test = 1/0;
?>
But no error message is shown when I try $test = NO_SUCH_CONSTANT;
The division by zero error is not displayed if I set display_errors to "Off" in php.ini.
But I think that should be the same as error_reporting(0);, why isn't it?
Thanks in advance.
