From: yunarta@yahoo.com Operating system: Win2k and BSDI 4.1 PHP version: 3.0.16 PHP Bug Type: MySQL related Bug description: mysql_pconnect is making new connection ? I'm using Win2k for first try, then also at BSDI 4.1, When i'm calling mysql_pconnect, it makes a new connection. On phpinfo(), its said i have 1 persistent connection, while on mysql console, after i'm issuing "show processlist", the connection doesn't exist. Its like when you issuing mysql_connect for connection to mysql. So i'm calling mysql_pconnect and issuing "show processlist" at mysql_query.. after i put all the process id, i found out that each pconnect is creating a new connection like what happens in mysql_connect Bug ? Notes: -it doesn't happens on PHP 4 -I'm using MySql 3.22.32 -I having similar problem too same as MySQL Bug id #3852, where pconnect overloads mysql -You can get the source code from http://202.157.137.129/sql.zip Thank you Yunarta Kartawahyudi
