Hi
I have a problem :). I've got 3rd party libraries to which I do
not have the sources, the shared and static versions.
Unfortunately, when I link against the shared versions of
the 3rd party library, PHP behaves unpredictably (segfaults
as standalone version, fails to respond as Apache module).
When I link against the static version when compiling the CGI
version of PHP, it works without a problem.
What I've not managed to determine, is how to link statically
when I compile the DSO version.
This is the libtool error I get:
libtool: link: cannot build libtool library `libphp4.la' from non-libtool
objects: /usr/tibco/tibrv/lib/libtibrv.a
Any ideas? Please CC me on replies, as I'm not subscribed to
the list.
Many thanks,
Leon.
