After compiling php 4.0.2 I couldn't start Apache anymore: it complains that libphp4.so uses a
pam_start symbol which it can't find.
With 4.0.1p2 it works fine.
My configure line:
./configure --with-apxs --with-pgsql --with-ftp --with-gd --with-imap --enable-sockets
--without-mysql
(same used for 4.0.1p2)
