I started on a udmsearch extension but got stuck because of the problem
Alexander mentioned with libudmsearch.a. I have not had time to have a
look at the new library. The best thing would be for the udmsearch guys
to write this extension. However, I can try to put together the framework
and get a simple working extension committed which the udm guys can then
build on. That might be the quickest way to get things rolling.
