I have found a problem with anything that calls readdir_r in a solaris build
(php_function(readdir_r)) and (ps_files_cleanup_dir in
mod_files.c)
It appears that SUN cc does not like odd size allocated entry arrays
Currently if php calls readdir_r with an odd sized arrary declared. php will immediately bus error
Im regarding this as a cc bug, but I cant find any fixes out there that state this
Anyways an important bug fix is to make sure that
char entry[sizeof(struct dirent) + MAXPATHLEN + 1]
is changed to
char entry[sizeof(struct dirent) + MAXPATHLEN]
Sascha,
Do you have any idea on this. I believe that SUN CC is not as posix compliant as they claim.
I will file a bug incident with them, but Im sure it will be quite some time before it will be
fixed.
Would there be an issue with changing every occurence of readdir_r?
