Scott
I downgraded php to 3.0.16 and the problem went away. So the most that I can conclude at this
point is either PHP has a problem or that PHP and Apache have a problem. I can't say if its
valid to ride the fence or emphasize a resolution on the php side more than on the Apache side.
I'm going to link php with the Netscape server and see if the problem persists.
Thanks
Brian

Quite odd. Did you post to the list to see if anyone else can
validate your findings?
