Operating system: Windows 2000
PHP version: 4.0.3pl1
PHP Bug Type: MSSQL related
Bug description: mssql_fetch_object
Any statements that use mssql_fetch_object fail, resulting in the page hanging up and doing nothing.
Example statement:
$row = mssql_fetch_object($result);
The application was origionally written with PHP3 and we are testing out PHP4. mssql_query appears
to work correctly but fetch does not. We've reverted to PHP3 on the same machine and
everything works fine. The server is Windows 2000 Server with SP1. We will be sticking with 3
until a solution can be found for mssql_fetch_object. My guess is that the mssql70 library may be
to blame.
