This is actually (as far as I know) the only way..or could these 'not found lib' situations be solved by some other means (during configure) ? Are there some switches to give to linker ?? Anyone? I have always used LD_LIBRARY_PATH when I have had troubles with something finding some library which isn't located in the 'default' place when dealing with Solaris. In Linux I have specifified the path in /etc/ld.so.conf file and run ldconfig. --Jani >Stanislav Kuba > >> -----Original Message----- >> From: Bug Database [mailto:php-dev@lists.php.net] >> Sent: Tuesday, October 03, 2000 4:56 AM >> To: stanislav.kuba@cz.worldonline.com >> Subject: PHP 4.0 Bug #6289 Updated: Apache isn't running with PHP4 >> module with PostrgreSQL support >> >> >> ID: 6289 >> Updated by: sniper >> Reported By: stanislav.kuba@cz.worldonline.com >> Status: Closed >> Bug Type: PostgreSQL related >> Assigned To: >> Comments: >> >> No feedback. --Jani >> >> Previous Comments: >> -------------------------------------------------------------- >> ------------- >> >> [2000-08-26 09:20:51] sniper@php.net >> If you don't have it already, try adding /usr/local/lib into >> LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
