ID: 7097 Updated by: fmk Reported By: rob@regemc.fsnet.co.uk Status: Closed Bug Type: MSSQL related Assigned To: Comments: Datetime columns was truncated. This has been fixed in CVS. The changes will be availavle from php 4.0.4 Please email me if you want my copy of php_mssql20.dll Previous Comments: --------------------------------------------------------------------------- [2000-10-09 07:04:48] rob@regemc.fsnet.co.uk The SQL statement when executed in any other way (outside of PHP, ie. MS SQL Query Analyser), works perfectly. I receive a messagebox on the server, that states this... ************************************************** php.exe - Application Error The instruction at "0x77fc90cd" referenced memory at "0x00080101". The memory could not be "written". Click on OK to terminate the program Click on CANCEL to debug the program ************************************************** I have Visual C++ 6 installed on my system. Possibly the reason why it asks me to debug. I think the problem lies in the "php_mssql70.dll" library. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- [2000-10-09 06:20:50] derick@php.net SQL is not a part of PHP, the problem must be found in MySQL for this. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- [2000-10-09 06:15:37] rob@regemc.fsnet.co.uk When executing a MIN or MAX on a date field, it gives an error. I have reinstalled both the operating system and PHP (not due to PHP!), and I am still getting the same error. I have got around it temporarily by using the following... ***************************************** MIN(rtrim(convert(char,Logs.DateAndTime,112)) + ' ' + rtrim(convert(char,Logs.DateAndTime,8))) AS LoDate ***************************************** I have to convert it to an ISO-formatted date so that it will return me the correct results. This will produce overhead. When this gets fixed, I will be really happy. Please feel free to contact me if you require more information. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Full Bug description available at: http://bugs.php.net/?id=7097
