This is part of the instruction from the online manual: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE /System /CurrentControlSet /Services /W3Svc /Parameters/ScriptMap. On the edit menu select: New->String Value. Type in the extension you wish to use for your php scripts. ex: .php Double click on the new string value and enter the path to php.exe in the value data field. ex: c:\php\php.exe %s %s. The '%s %s' is VERY important, PHP will not work properly without it. This is from the PWS-php4cgi.reg file [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\w3svc\parameters\Script Map] ".php"="[PUT PATH HERE]\\php.exe" Where are the %s %s ? (if this is a stupid question, i'm sorry, regedit is not my strong point, but i'm learning :-) Bug Database wrote: > ID: 7391 > Updated by: dbeu > Reported By: allard@zaz.com.br > Status: Closed > Bug Type: *General Issues > Assigned To: > Comments: > > http://cvs.php.net/viewcvs.cgi/php4/sapi/isapi/ > i'll include it in the next release too. > > but why do you need it? imo you can set up the iis without it. > > Previous Comments: > --------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > [2000-10-22 07:42:47] allard@zaz.com.br > PWS-php4.reg is still missing ! > We poor win98 users need this file! > > --------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Full Bug description available at: http://bugs.php.net/?id=7391
