error in Oracle version detection

I think there is something wrong with the Oracle version detection in the Oracle and OCI8 extensions. They look in orainst/unix.rgs to determine version, but at least on the 8.1.5 installation I've seen, unix.rgs is empty. This makes it think it's 7.3. Could someone with 8.1.5 check if they have a non- empty unix.rgs? If the directory argument ends with product/version, we should perhaps use the version number in the argument instead. Stig
