I see that the SNMP extension has a configure option --with-openssl
and the IMAP extension has an option --with-imap-ssl for the same.
I want an option for including ssl when using LDAP with SSL support,
and I'm also thinking of adding some crypto functions that depend on
OpenSSL. Anyone mind that I try to make a global --with-openssl
option and remove the option from snmp and imap? I'll try not to
break too many eggs, but accidents might happen of course....
I'll do this soon unless I see any objections.
