I think he wanted you to try a snapshot of the latest version,
available at http://snaps.php.net/, and see if the problem
persisted because there's been a ton of fixes.
Probably unrelated, but I do see that you've disabled mysql
support, yet it appears to be enabled, and you've enabled
support for shared gd, yet gd support seems to be missing.
