Using external libraries ...

Hi there, I am writing an own module for php4. This module should use external functions and should be linked against external libraries. Where do I have to declare the include- and library-paths to be able to compile the code ... In config.m4 made by ext_skel there is just a message dnl If you will not be testing anything external, like existence of dnl headers, libraries or functions in them, just uncomment the dnl following line and you are ready to go. But I could not find any hint / howto / description how to modify the config.m4 / Makefile.in for my needs.
