ID: 7708 Updated by: sniper Reported By: jelle@kalf.org Status: Closed Bug Type: *General Issues Assigned To: Comments: Please refer to the mod_ssl INSTALL file. Short tip, right order is: 1. configure mod_ssl 2. make apache 3. configure and make php. (and to compile php as DSO, use --with-apxs NOT --with-apache) There is no bug in PHP regarding this. Please ask further questions on php-install@lists.php.net or php-general@lists.php.net . --Jani Previous Comments: --------------------------------------------------------------------------- [2000-11-08 16:43:57] jelle@kalf.org Hello, i configured php4.0.3p1 is ./configure --with-mysql --with-apache=../apache and configured mod_ssl as well. after compiling and installing everything including apache, it give the error that apache uses standard DSO and should be recompiled with -DEAPI option, to make sure that httpd does not crash (it will not even start.... so it can't crash). HELP. I can't seam get php4 to use DEAPI. Please advise. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Full Bug description available at: http://bugs.php.net/?id=7708
