Comments:
I haven't had the oppertunity to try anything with RedHat 7 (FreeBSD and RH 6.2 only). I have
also not done anything using the --enable-solid option, so...
First, the Solid libs for 3.5 and 3.51 check the shared object first for its existence. If its
found it would rather use that. But because of something screwy by the SolidTech QA team, the 3.5
and 3.51 shared objects are MISSING parts. I had to pester them for weeks before they acknolwedged
this and sent me a new lib file.
Second which library file was found by the PHP config process to be used for solid?

I have problems to compile php4.0.3pl1 with solid support.
I've tried solid library 3.5, 3.51, 3.0, but I have the same problem:
.libs/libphp4.a(php_odbc.o): In function `php_if_odbc_statistics':
php_odbc.o(.text+0x535c): undefined reference to `SQLAllocStmt'
php_odbc.o(.text+0x53ed): undefined reference to `SQLStatistics'
php_odbc.o(.text+0x5420): undefined reference to `SQLNumResultCols'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [php] Error 1
Is there a way to solve this?
I have tried to compile php with this options:
./configure
--enable-solid
--with-solid=/usr/local/solid
--enable-imap
--with-apache=../apache1.3.14
--with-imap
--with-mysql
--with-gd
--without-xml
--enable-track-vars
--enable-memory-limit=yes
--enable-magic-quotes
Thank you, Denis
