When installing php for the first time, I would expect it to setup the php.ini file. This was not
copied to my /winnt directory, and was not setup.
I would think it would setup the paths for extension_dir, plus setup basic logging. Compare with
the install for activestate's perl install; it's really quick slick, and easier for admins
to setup.
This is more of a feature than a bug, but I think it would help php in the long run.
Best Regards,
Eric Johanson
