php 4.x.x compiled under solaris 7 looses connection to a remote mysql server. If I do this:
$link = mysql_connect ("warnix", "chrisb", "xxx");
mysql_select_db("track",$link);
$query_string = "select * from picfile";
mysql_db_query("track",$query_string,$link);
echo mysql_errno().": ".mysql_error()."n";
mysql_close ($link);
I get the following error
2013: Lost connection to MySQL server during query
and the servers logfile looks like:
000823 12:17:16 65 Connect chrisb@picsrv1 on
65 Init DB track
65 Quit
66 Connect chrisb@picsrv1 on
66 Init DB track
66 Quit
if I use php compiled under solaris 2.6 (same configure settings) everything works fine and the
servers logfile looks like this:
000828 15:25:39 75 Connect chrisb@picsrv1 on
75 Init DB track
75 Init DB track
75 Query select * from picfile
75 Quit
I have tried this with 4.0.0, 4.0.1 and 4.0.1pl2...
