I have created a patch which make the neccesary changes to automatically detect Solid version 3.0 and make it compile (it requires a rerun of autoconf after aplying the patch). Unfortunately I couldn't find a way to make it link automatically with the solid library correctly so there have to be created a few links from the original libraries to make this work. The configure script will however detect the absense of these links and will give a warning. I think this is as close as I can get to make it fully automatically. The patch is about 10K, so I guess it is a bit to large to post to this mailing list. How should I submit this patch so that it can be included into the main PHP source tree? In the meantime I have placed the patch on my personal website as http://www.terra.nu/PHP-4.0.3pl1-Solid-3.0.diff -- #!perl # Life ain't fair, but root passwords help. # Eric Veldhuyzen eric@terra.telemediair.nl $!=$;=$_+(++$_);($:,$~,$/,$^,$*,$@)=$!=~ # Perl Monger /.(.)...(.)(.)....(.)..(.)..(.)/;$^$~$/$: $^$*$@$~ $_>&$;
