Hi, all.
First off, I'm not bitching about the current level of OO support in PHP - I
just wondering where things are going to be heading in the future.
In essence, I'm just wondering whether or not support for the following will
be provided.
1. Multiple Inheritance.
2. Virtual Base Classes.
3. Private methods (and hence friend functions, etc.)
4. Passing an object by reference. (Apparently there's a problem if the
object passed is liable to be used in another object's constructor. ie:
$test = new BlahClass($this); )
I know that a lot of these aren't really PHP like, but I'm just wondering
what the score is. My apologies for opening this kettle of fish (again).
Regards,
John Parker.
