hi,
i'm just getiing the lobs to work....!
the api looks like this so far:
<?php
ociinternaldebug(1);
$conn = ocilogon("digicol","digicol","ipc");
$query = "insert into tc values(empty_clob(),10) returning test into
:clob";
$stmt = ociparse($conn,$query);
$lob = ocinewlob($conn);
if (!ocibindbyname($stmt,":clob",$lob,SQLT_CLOB))
{ print "ocibindbyname failes";
exit;
}
if (!ociexecute($stmt,OCI_DEFAULT))
{ print "execution failed";
exit;
}
// now we can set the actual lob value...
$lob->save("hallo thieso jetzt gehts");
ocicommit($stmt);
ocifreestatement($stmt);
ocilogoff($conn);
?>
you left some code about opaque variables in the code.... could you
enlighten me with a few words or should i just ignore it (it's not used
right now at all)?????
right now i'm working on the out-callback to get the above code working!
i will ignore the "variable freed" problem for binding right now, as
php4 (zend) will have refrence counting (so they say) - so we'll be on
the "save" side in the future - and i will leave a big remark in the
docs (to be written) about this "shortcoming".
