Hi there,
I have written a PHP extention for the Verity Search Engine and my functions
are working perfectly so far. Very large objects including search results
are returned by one function. And as I said the module is working without
errors as long as I don't assign the result object of one function to a
property of another object.
Shortened up this is what I wrote:
k2_searchrecv ( ... ) returns an object that contains a two-dimensional
array of search results. (Working perfectly)
then I wrote the following wrapper-class in PHP:
1: class k2search {
2:
3: var $result;
4:
5: function searchrecv ()
6: {
7: $this->result = k2_searchrecv( ... my parameters ... )
8: }
9: }
In line 7 I get a segmentation fault, which occurs during the assignment of
the result-object to the L-value ($this->result)
If I slightly change line 7 to:
7: $dummy = k2_searchrecv( ... my parameters ... )
no segmentation fault occurs ...
What could be the cause for that annoying segmentation fault ???
TIA
CHris
