From: ketan@esoftech.com Operating system: Unix PHP version: 4.0.1pl2 PHP Bug Type: *General Issues Bug description: IE5.0 cache refresh problem I am showing some data in a table from MySQL database using PHP4.0.1pl2. There are links such as Add, Edit and Delete which takes the user to the next page where he performs some actions like adding or editing or deleting a record and on saving it comes back to the main page which should the changed info. from the database. It is working absolutely fine in Netscape 4.7 but the problem is in IE5.0. While coming on the main page after editing data it does not refresh the data and the user has to refresh the page. On the going thru the manual I found to add <META HTTP-EQUIV="Expires" CONTENT="0"> in the head tag so that it reloads the page from the site instead of cache. It does so but not in the first attempt. It refreshes in the second attempt. Exact problem can be found at the following site "www.profitmaxx.com". In the home page login as the user 'def' and password 'def'. The click on the portfolio page afterlogin.(don't user this option before login). The edit any record and press 'Save'. The result is not updated in the main page. Now again edit the same record or some other record and save. Now both the record gets updated in the main page. Mind you this is happening only in IE. Please help. Thanks in advance. PS: You can see the PHP setting in 'www.profitmaxx.com/hello.php'. -- Edit Bug report at: http://bugs.php.net/?id=7942&edit=1
