Hi, Will bcmath (with its recent integration to PHP) compile out-of-the-box with 4.0.4 ? With yesterday's snapshot 200011260045, --enable-bcmath doesn't work and if I retrieve number4.tar.gz, it configures but fails when linking php with errors: ./configure --enable-bcmath --with-imap --enable-discard-path [many similar errors] .libs/libphp4.a(bcmath.o): In function `php_if_bccomp': /home/cahagn_o/php/php4-200011260045/ext/bcmath/bcmath.c:460: undefined reference to `bc_init_num' This has been tested on Linux (RH 6.2) with egcs 2.91.66 and NetBSD with gcc 2.7.2.2. What is the latest snapshot known to work with bcmath, I need bcsub() and bcadd() functions to get pear/Benchmark/Timer.php to work to debug imap_fetchstructure() in CGI mode. BTW, configure does not emit any warning when misconfiguring PHP, for example: ./configure --enable-bcmaths (notice the trailing 's') won't output any error, is it a bug or a feature (might too complicated to do this for every option) ? -- Olivier.Cahagne@epita.fr
