Obviously it doesn't support IMAP very well then (for now).
Try testing it with some REAL client, like Pine or Mutt.

And that problem is partly solved. But the cause for those problems
were by using buggy IMAP server and the fix will just make PHP to
end processing if the server fails. So the real fix for that bug
is to update the IMAP server.
