Uhm. It seems to be that I've used the optimized ini script
besides updating php, apache and mysql to:
mysql Ver 11.6 Distrib 3.23.28-gamma, for pc-linux-gnu (i686)
Server version: Apache/1.3.14 (Unix), Server built: Nov 29 2000 11:04:20
PHP Version 4.0.3pl1
So this combination works on LFS 2.4.
With $PHP_SELF as $HTTP_SERVER_VARS["PHP_SELF"]...
