Do you still have problems with GD extension?? --Jani --------------------------------------------------------------------------- [2000-10-06 08:40:02] sniper@php.net You propably have old remains of GD-library somewhere in your system. Please try this: find / -name gd.h Best way to get GD work is to delete every instance of gd.h and libgd.a from your system and then recompile and install it from scratch. And the same for php 4 after that. --Jani --------------------------------------------------------------------------- [2000-09-10 21:06:20] mj27921@janus.swipnet.se Configuration script: ./configure --with-mysql --with-apxs --with-mcrypt --with-gd --with-jpeg-dir=/CFG/jpeg-6b --with-t1lib That reports no problems when I run it... but when I try to use "make" it reports this : /bin/sh /CFG/php-4.0.2/libtool --silent --mode=compile gcc -I. -I/CFG/php-4.0.2/ext/gd -I/CFG/php-4.0.2 -I/CFG/php-4.0.2/main -I/usr/include/apache -I/CFG/php-4.0.2/Zend -I/CFG/php-4.0.2 -I/usr/local/include/freetype -I/usr/local/include -I/CFG/php-4.0.2/ext/mysql/libmysql -I/CFG/php-4.0.2/ext/xml/expat/xmltok -I/CFG/php-4.0.2/ext/xml/expat/xmlparse -DEAPI=1 -DXML_BYTE_ORDER=12 -g -O2 -c gd.c gd.c: In function `php_if_imagecreatefromgif': gd.c:500: `gdImageCreateFromGif' undeclared (first use in this function) gd.c:500: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once gd.c:500: for each function it appears in.) gd.c: In function `php_if_imagegif': gd.c:657: `gdImageGif' undeclared (first use in this function) make[3]: *** [gd.lo] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/CFG/php-4.0.2/ext/gd' make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/CFG/php-4.0.2/ext/gd' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/CFG/php-4.0.2/ext' make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 Then I tried to open the php-4.0.2/ext/gd/gd.c and there I user "//" infront of line 500 and 657...
