when doing this:
$blob_id = ibase_blob_create();
ibase_blob_add($blob_id, $moves); // <-- binary data
$blob_id_str = ibase_blob_close($blob_id);
$query=ibase_prepare("INSERT INTO games (refid, moves) VALUES (1,?)");
$result = ibase_execute($query,$blob_id_str);
it ends up with segmentation fault. similar to bug #7837.
