As I mentioned earlier I was going to use php_fsockopen from fsock.c
When the make process tries to link it complains that my module references
and undefined symbol php_fsockopen - but this is part of fsock.c, I have
also configured with --enable-socket
However, there are no complaints that my module tries to use the function
php_file_le_socket() from file.c
It is not true php_fsockopen is not being linked in; yet the .o file is
being created - I can't find any ifdef's that would comment out some of the
code to cause the missing symbols and failed link, and when I do compile,
the fsockopen function is present!
Why can't I use fsockopen from my own module?
