ID: 8048 Updated by: stas Reported By: martin@complinet.com Status: Analyzed Bug Type: *Function Specific Assigned To: Comments: Indeed, it always returns number of elements (it's coded this way). Anybody knows why it's the other way in the manual? Previous Comments: --------------------------------------------------------------------------- [2000-11-30 04:27:28] martin@complinet.com The manual page for the 'count' function says that arrays with null elements will be ignored. This is not true. If you try the example it returns 6 as opposed to 4 as stated. I have tested this on various systems and found the same result. Thank You, Martin --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Full Bug description available at: http://bugs.php.net/?id=8048
