PHP 4.0 Bug #8138: Hang on url_scanner_ex.c

Compile line for url_scanner is: /bin/sh /opt2/src/php-4.0.3pl1/libtool --silent --mode=compile gcc -I. -I/opt2/src/php-4.0.3pl1/ext/standard -I/opt2/src/php-4.0.3pl1 -I/opt2/src/php-4.0.3pl1/main -I/usr/local/apache1312/include -I/opt2/src/php-4.0.3pl1/Zend -I/opt2/src/php-4.0.3pl1 -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/local/include/freetype -I/usr/local/mysql/include -I/opt2/src/php-4.0.3pl1/ext/xml/expat/xmltok -I/opt2/src/php-4.0.3pl1/ext/xml/expat/xmlparse -I/opt2/src/php-4.0.3pl1/TSRM -D_POSIX_PTHREAD_SEMANTICS -DEAPI -DXML_BYTE_ORDER=21 -g -O2 -c url_scanner_ex.c process stops after about 7 seconds, and goes to sleep. No idea what it's doing. I knoticed Jani said this would be fixed in later versioning, but this is the first time I've ever seen this happen.
