Could you please try latest snapshot from http://snaps.php.net
to check whether it fixes this ?

Some openbsd-guru could possibly check out that
port (ftp://ftp.gsnig.org/pub/users/jakob/ports/php4.tar.gz)
and maybe make the needed modifications into php4-cvs??

The OpenBSD port mentioned above compiles with some text relocation warnings, but runs fine.

It continues in 4.0.1pl2. I'm going to test the PHP4 port for OpenBSD done by Jakob Schlyter
(available at ftp://ftp.gsnig.org/pub/users/jakob/ports/php4.tar.gz),
and will advise as necessary. From traffic on the OpenBSD lists, it appears as if 4.0.2 mostly
works (with a few compilation warnings).

Please verify that it´s still happening using the latest version of PHP (release 4.0.1pl2 or CVS).
